Description
I recently read The Dragon Keeper by Robin Hobb and was greatly inspired by the way dragons were depicted, with an integument of scale-feather intermediates and an arrogant nature. The dragons in the story were badly misformed and couldn't fly, but I tried to depict them in poses they don't look too bad. There's little Heeby on the left, Sintara in the middle, the savage-natured Fente in the bottom and one of the unnamed orange males on the right.
It's nice to draw something ridiculously colourful once in a while.

These are the only drawings of Robin Hobb's dragons I've seen that acually reach perfection. There is just one thing from this piece of beauty that trouble's me: Are Sintara's eyes supposed to be pitch-black like that?
Anyway, if these dragons still inspire you, DO make more drawings like these, they are just marvelous.
