Rainbow of Dragons by Eurwentala Rainbow of Dragons by Eurwentala
I recently read The Dragon Keeper by Robin Hobb and was greatly inspired by the way dragons were depicted, with an integument of scale-feather intermediates and an arrogant nature. The dragons in the story were badly misformed and couldn't fly, but I tried to depict them in poses they don't look too bad. There's little Heeby on the left, Sintara in the middle, the savage-natured Fente in the bottom and one of the unnamed orange males on the right.

It's nice to draw something ridiculously colourful once in a while.

Your Heeby is absolutely perfect! I instantly knew it was her, partially due to the color, but also due to how big her eyes are in comparison to the other dragons. It gives her a childish, playful look which perfectly matches my image of Heeby <3

Thanks. :) I just finished reading City of Dragons, and the dragons have caught my imagination again just as badly as they did last time.

I know, I love the Rain Wild Chronicles so much, I would've said it's my favorite series by her but they all are :D I haven't read the last one yet though, I can't wait to get started on that one when my finals are done ^^

I just started this series halfway through the first book. I LOVE it. I'm surely going to read them all, I already have the 2nd one borrowed out from the library. Anyway fantastic renditions of these characters. I especially like Heeby, cute! :3

If I had a dragon, I'd like it to be like Heeby. Not necessarily as intelligent as the others, but so sweet. :) Though a wise one like Mercor would be awesome too.

I liked the books too. Not necessarily new masterpieces of literature, but very pleasant to read.
