Description
Play behaviour is not limited to mammals and birds. This picture is based on a reported case from 1977, where a wild young American alligator was observed apparently playing with dripping water for at least 45 minutes. It would stalk the dropping water, snap at it or let it drop on it's snout, circle around and come back again and again.
